Just got one of these. Smartwatches be damned.

I misread the title as Oppositecock...

You were obviously distracted by the boobs.

I remember when my school banned those.

At least at my school in Paris, these and old school Casio/Seiko gold or silver digital watches are weirdly trendy with both professors and students.

This guy approves!

The original smart watch.
...
(Seriously, I don't have much idea of what I'd use a smartwatch for, but I want one purely for the sake of being able to bypass my lockscreen password using the 'if connected to this Bluetooth device, unlock automatically' option.

I bet that watch is older than you are.

I want one for using Cortana without pulling my phone out of my skinny jean pockets, controlling my music without reaching over and fucking with my phone in the car, and being able to see who texts.
But a calculator is cool too :P

Actually no. They still make these things.

I really wish Cortana actually sounded like Cortana...
(Okay, I'd totally do all of that as well - though with the far less blue Google Now - but the main thing I want it for is the PIN bypass.)

Important questions concerning watches of this type:
1. What's its range of water resistance?
2. How many tunes can it play?
There, 90s summed up.

Cortana is voiced by the same actress that did Cortana in the games. It's not 100%, but she's still in Beta and they're adding more of her every couple months.

I had one that could turn TV's on and off. So much fun

I know it's Jen Taylor, but - at least so far - she certainly isn't doing the Cortana voice.

We got one like that for my grandfather back in the 90s(he was in his early 70s at the time). He had great fun messing with random TVs at people's houses, the mall, stores, etc. No one ever suspected the prankster was the bald old man.

LOL! At the malls and stores was so fun :] Thanks cool grandpa!

My first thought was "20 years later that nerd probably looks like this:
And is making $500,000/year (plus owns equity) in an enterprise software consulting agency."

Probably, that's why you should punch him extra hard now, while you still can!

No, you make close friends in high school and get him to accept an 80/20 equity split in a company that he does all the coding for, so YOU can look like that and he looks like this:

I was more of a Tetris watch type of guy.

So, in other words, you continue to bully him....got it!
